My first time as a photographer capturing the raw, unfiltered energy of Flamenco. An incredible night behind the lens at t Tablao Jardine De Zoraya in the heart of Granada. A huge thank you to the entire team for making me feel so welcome, being patient with my lack of Spanish, and accommodating my very first photography session. You made the experience unforgettable.

Recently, I had the incredible chance to explore the the city of Florence on a mission to meet and photograph the talented sculptors who keep the artistic flame alive!

My amazing guide for this adventure was my good friend Rasha Obaid, a gifted stone carver, sculptor, and a 2023 QEST Howdens Sculpture Scholar at the prestigious Florence Academy of Art (FAA).

Rasha’s background in architectural stone carving is awe-inspiring, but in Florence, she’s delving into the captivating world of figurative sculpture, honing her skills in capturing the human form through clay and drawing. The Academy is known for its exceptional anatomy drawing program, which Rasha absolutely loves and believes will be instrumental in achieving her dream of creating public sculptures.
